I tried to restore ipad to manufacturer's settings, and it started to do it, and then iTunes gives me an alert, it cannot complete the request for some make up thing. Any clues? mu iPad is dead. It keeps telling me to connect to iTunes, iTunes extracts the software and then it quits.

I have done all the suggestions, nothing is working for me. I have erased all contedt and settings. Plugged into itunes, tried checking for new software(says it is up to date) tried restore and back up. Just keeps telling me there was a problem downloading the software for Ipad and pop up box re-directs me to all the suggestions I have already tried. My mac software and itunes are up to date. i have restarted both computer and ipad. Still, no dice.

I was expecting Siri, as described on the description of the iOS 6 update on my iPhone 4. Didn't get it. Also, I want features that was a part of my iOS 5 experience I don't have now with iOS 6. I want to downgrade back to iOS 5.1.1. I tried to use my old iTunes to restore the old OS, but got an error.

Ihave installed software to perform
unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, this means i jailbeak it. apple says that: First, uninstall the unauthorized modification software. Then follow the steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server in the Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store section of
iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting.so how do i first uninstall the unauthorized modification software from my ipad?
