Really Export - NOT convert and leave in Library?

Anyone have a script that will actually export a song from my library to the desktop without leaving it in my library?
The Quick Convert script is almost perfect for what I need (because it doesn't modify my import settings) but it puts the file in my library.
I use iTunes to organize my music for video production, however FCP doesn't like MP3's or AAC's. At all. It loves AIFF's. Storing the amount of music we have as AIFF's in not feasible.
I have to either navigate to my files using the finder, open the track in QT Pro, export as an AIFF, move it to my media drive, and then import it. It may not sound like a big deal, but with a deadline looming like a dark cloud it gets a little tedious.
Alternatively, I can use the Quick Convert script in iTunes, which lets me pick the convert format without modifying my import settings (nice) but it then adds them to my library. This feature slows me down because I still need to drag the file o
