New iPod Classic soon, or 128G iPhone?

Hi all, Recently my iPod Classic 160 Gig has given up. I had some problems when synching but now it's completely dead. Never mind, I still have an iPhone 3G. Now I'm waiting for the new line of products of Apple, especially the new iPhone. That was on my list anyway. I have a large library and I want to have as many songs on my iPod as well. Now I was hoping Apple would release a larger iPod Classic with eg. 250 Gb instead of 160 Gb. That I would buy directly. But there's almost no word on any new releases of the classic iPod line. Do you think / know Apple would release a larger iPod Classic in the near future? I would hate it to buy an iPod Classic of the current line, when there will be a new model soon... If not (I fear Apple would rather have you take Itunes Match instead of buying a new device), did anybody hear that Apple would extend the hard disks on the new iPhone?
