Waterproof iPhone Case Evolution - OtterBox, LifeProof, now Liquipel?

Has anybody had  their phone undergo the Liquipel process? When you read the fine print they actually say to stop using your phone after it's exposed to water, despite the nano waterproof coating. I currently advocate the LifeProof case for water proofness and durability. Previously I used the Otter Box defender and enjoyed wearing a tire tread on my belt, whilst having my pockets pulled out of my pants sticking to the Otter Box.
