Iphone Tmobile Wifi Calling Question

Hey guys. Is there an app out there I can use to hack the wifi of my iphone so I can use Tmobile service to make/receive automatically wifi calling on their hotspot unlimited calling plan? I'm hoping there is as I unlocked my iphone and want to use it for free wifi calling. Please don't reply regarding skype as I don't need to know about that. My question specifically is whether or not I can hack my iphone to use it as a wifi phone with Tmobile's Hotspot unlimited wifi calling service. Thanks so much for your input. -Stu

iPhone 4 Wifi Calling

So is there any way to make Wifi calling with the iPhone ? If you tell me download an app then this company seriously needs to rethink their hardware/software. I live on an army base... the signal out here is...well its a mythical creature lets say. I have wifi in my room, however that doesnt seem to give me the ability to make phone calls. If anyone knows a FREE APP thats actually worth my time not netTALK because its terrible.  AND not one that costs me per minute.. why would i even get a phone if i have to pay per min to make phone calls on my phone with a 3rd party app? Anyways im venting becausei  came from android and im an

I'm really, really sorry if there is, in fact, a thread out there somewhere that covers this, but the search functions on the forum certainly didn't turn up anything specifically useful when I searched "VoIP," "WiFi calling," or "Microcell." A couple things: 1. Is there ANY way, with an iPhone 4 (jailbroken or otherwise) on AT&T, other than shelling out for a MicroCell, to make calls on my actual AT&T phone line, using my own WiFi connection and reception, and not AT&T's incredibly poor network service? 2. Failing that, is there any way to redirect my incoming AT&T calls to say, Skype in the event that I have no cellular service, or really poor cellular service?

t-mobile wifi calling and the iphone

i understand due to hardware limitations that the iphone is unable to place calls using uma technology. i've read however, that t-mobile has enabled wifi calling on the samsung galaxy s phones with the recent android 2.2 froyo update. everything i have seen eludes to this functionality being enabled by software only. is this remotely possible on the iphone? if someone is able to create similar software would t-mobile still have to allow access on the end? thanks for any clarification

Tmobile Hotspot on iPhone's Wifi?

Anyone used a Tmobile Hotspot on the iPhone? Was it easy to setup? From the instruction for the general use on the Tmobile FAQ it seemed pretty easy to use. But I wanted to ask if there were any snags that people have come across? I did a search and found this other Hotspot Thread , but this one seems to deal with using 2 iphones on the same login at the same time. I actually pay for the hotspot and it will be used on my account.

i have my tmobile sim card in my jailbroken iphone,,and everything is fine,,but i had blackberry pkg with tmobile before. My question is now that i have the tmobile sim in my iphone,,what do i say to tmobile in order to get the internet pckg updated,,because obviously the blackberry was different than the iphone server will tmobile give me crap for putting sim into iphone,or will they just change the internet pckg? thank you for your time

Okay. So most people know about t-mobiles new service that allows free calls to be made over wifi networks. Think about this- almost any urban area has some sort of wifi place... so making calls from those hotspots is not only free but amazing quality. So we know AT&T is going to come out with this service to and some wifi phones, along with most other providers... but what if the next generation iPhone used its already built in WiFi feature as a method of making calls?? Would the world collapse? and when apple realizes they need to make a camera that faces forward to the subject or atleast has the ability to pop in and turn around... they will enable the use of iChat video on the iphone. Imagine sitting with your friend on the subway in new york city.. having a nice conversation face to face, only your friend is in tokyo at restaurant. will the world collapse or will this just be the beginning of the future? ideas?

iPhone 5 Wifi question

Hello, I just view that my iPhone 5 connected on a Dlink RangeBooster Wifi N router (over 2,4Ghz band) is detected as 802.11g instead of 802.11n. I tried to connect it on the 5Ghz band and the iPhone is detected as 802.11n. In the case of using 2.4ghz band is this normal that iPhone uses 802.11g ?

TMobile iPhone 5 unlimited/tethering question

Hello. My dad is a Verizon customer and I'm considering switching him to TMobile for the iPhone5. What I would like to do is get him on an unlimited plan and tether an iPad. He does not have an internet connection in his home. He is not technically inclined so I'm trying to stay away from buying a laptop and home internet connection. The thing he would use this set up the most for would be viewing pictures/video I send him and doing video calls - either FaceTime or Skype. 1. Can he tether the iPad? Is there an additional charge? 2. If he can tether, can he take advantage of the unlimited data? 3. If the iPad is tethered, could he make FaceTime calls from it?

So does iOS 7 allow for wifi calling on iPhone now?

I read article saying ios 7 will bring facetime audio, for audio calls vs. video, sounds similar to the wifi calling feature tmobile phones advertise. I know the iphone 5 now doesn't currently support wifi calling, anyone think the new ios 7 would fix this?
