Straight Talk + unlocked iPhone vs. Official Straight Talk iPhone - not equal!

I was wondering if now that Straight Talk is an official iPhone carrier, will iTunes now push official Straight Talk ipcc files to unlocked iPhones with all of the correct settings for data, mms & Visual Voicemail automatically?!??? UPDATE: After some research, I am finding out that the Straight Talk iPhone is intended for CDMA Straight Talk customers (Verizon's network). The Model number is A1429 BUT: Verizon's iPhone 5 is Part #MD655LL Straight Talk shares the same part number as Cricket. Part #MD105LL LTE WILL NOT work on the Straight Talk/Cricket iPhone. You will only get CDMA EV-DO on Straight Talk. Inserting a Verizon nano sim DOESN'T get LTE either. The toggle button for the LTE appears and the carrier banner changes to Verizon but the data service never changes to LTE. The phone features 3G service only. The hotspot feature turns ON.

iPhone 3gs, iOS 6.0, Straight Talk APN settings with iPhone Configuration Utility

ok the title is pretty long but it gets the poitn across.  I am in need of assistance.  I recently sqitched carriers to Straight talk and am having trouble with setting up the APN settings on the phone.  I made the mistake of upgrading my Ios to 6.0 and now I cant get into the APN settings to change them so where I can use Straight Talks data ability.  I have read around and found out that I can change them via the iPhone Configuration Utility software but I honestly do not know how to work the program or how to to change the settings on the iPhone with it.   I used the following link to show what I needed to change but all it gives is the information. Not where to put it. It doesn't say where to put it in the iPCU, I did find a couple of spots but I honestly dont know how or where to export the finished file or even how to save the file to be honest.  I am a complete noob to this and would very much like to see a tutorial video on how and what to

I am going to be picking up a used AT&T iPhone 4 today. What are the proper steps to get everything working with a Straight Talk AT&T SIM? Is there a "Everything you need to know" type thread for this you could point me towards? I do not know yet what version of iOS it has on it.

BAD NEWS: iPhone 3GS permaently deactivated by Straight Talk for 'unapproved data usage

I've been on Str8 Talk's unlimited plan for about 5-6 months now and was really happy with phone service, so much so I would tell anyone I could about it. Then about a month ago, ST shut my data off and I was forced to call them to add another service card and get data back. They asked me all kinds of questions about my use like was I tethering, streaming media, which browser I was using, going on facebook a lot, etc. Before last month, I had used about 1 gig of data over 3 months and for various reasons I needed to start tethering last month and used about 3 gigs which triggered a report against my service and thus the data deactivation. I said I wasn't tethering and it didnt really seem like they could tell the difference because they ended up saying that I wasn't closing my browser properly and it was still connected in the background and consuming data thus my high usage lol. Iphone 4 Straight talk NO SERVICE

Hi i bought an at&t locked iphone 4. The firmware is 5.1.1, baseband is 4.12.01. I read online that straighttalk works for at&t locked phones, without a jailbreak or anything. So i went out and bought one off craigslist. I ordered the sim caard, got it activated, however the phone will not connect to a tower. It says searching for a few minutes, and then "no service". I called tech support, and after long conversations spanning over 2 days, they finally said i need a fully unlocked iphone... Well everywehre else i have read says that this is not needed. So does anyone have any thoughts or troubleshooting tips? it is not jailbroken, and i know an unlock is pretty much impossible atm with this baseband. Let me know, thanks!

iPhone 4 with Straight Talk

My wife has an AT&T iPhone 4 with Straight Talk service. The phone isn't jailbroken or anything. She's running iOS 6.01. Every time she reboots the phone we go through a lot of hassle trying to get the service to work again. It tells her to dial 112, put the phone in airplane mode etc but it never seems to work until about the 20th try. Is there anything we can do to get this to work without all the troubles? Would unlocking the SIM or jailbraking the phone help at all?

iPhone 3G with Straight Talk..APN info??

I have an iPhone 3G unjailbroken and the other day i put a straight talk sim card in it and immediately the voice services worked perfectly and the text worked with no problems but the data didnt work. then i jailbroke thinking maybe the data would just start working and it didnt. so my question is does anyone have the APN, Username, and Password for Straight Talk or know how I would go about obtaining this information??
