Iphone 4 wont turn on even tried sleep home combo..

Hi All.. bought a iphone 4 on Swedish ebay as broken/fault.. the damn things doesnt turn on.. was hoping the former owner didnt know the sleep home combo "10 secs both togheter" so it was the first thing i tried when i received it.but with no luck.. any idea what i should try next? i dont mind opening it since i have another one ill try to fix later.. was thinking to strat with these first as "light project" the other one is in pieces.. thanks for your help Robert
