iPhone 4 Video Editing In Final Cut Pro

So i just got an OWLE Bubo for my iPhone 4 and have been taking a lot of video lately that I wanted to start editing.I've figured out that I needed to transcode the H.264 video the iPhone 4 produces to something edit-friendly like ProRes 442. I've done this in Compressor and its all gone fine and well, but it still makes me render everything that I put in the timeline...So something is off. It is a RED line so I believe this is audio related?Note: I know the iPhone records audio at 44.1KHz and it needs to be at 48KHz to work in final cut...and my settings for the ProRes442 is converting it to 48KHz but it still doesn't seem to be working...There is surprisingly little useful information on this topic online.
