OK so ive been buying alot of iphones for awhile now trying to figure out how to get them on the sprint network accoriding to the sprint techs they wont allow you too use any other carrier on there network but i know thats a lie because i went to a tech convention and people should me there verizon and at&t iphones on sprint networks and even metro pcs. so now i want to figure out how to do this. the new iphone 4s according too all the carriers have a sim card for internation use. i have been told that if you take a sprint sim card and put it in the at&t iphone that it will work and it wont work from different kinds of people so i am looking for help please. i have my at&t iphone 4. 5.0.1 jailbroken already and unlocked but i need technical help and experiences people who have tried this before and may have done this before. thank you

i have recently jailbroken my iPhone 4 which is locked orange UK, i need too unlock my iPhone as i'm now on vodafone. ive followed many of video via youtube using Ultrasn0w and i'm still getting the 'No Service' up in the corner. it's driveing me crazy, i haven't had a working phone in three days now lol, what if i downgrade from 6.0.2 to 5.1.1 would that be easier for me to unlock my iDevice? thank you

I have an iPhone 4 on a monthly contract in the UK with o2. My 3GS was unlocked without a problem, however o2 tell me that they can't/won't unlock my iPhone 4.I asked them why they won't (as I understand that EU legislation forbids enforced locking) and they told me that Apple have said that they aren't allowed to unlock iPhone 4s. They said that they could do the 3GS, but Apple won't let them do the 4s.Does this seem right?!

Hi…hope I can get some advice here – I currently have a 3GS on Orange, and have been fortunate enough to have been given a brand new Iphone 4,( my sister’s company has all their telecomms through O2, and they were given a couple of spare handsets as a deal sweetener). So, I assume it’s locked to O2, although there’s no reference to O2 anywhere on the packaging, and there’s no sim card in the package. Obviously, if it is locked, I will have to get it unlocked so I can use it with my range contract. So, my questions are: 1. How can I tell if it’s locked? I don’t know if plugging it into iTunes with a spare Orange sim will confuse things with my current iPhone(I currently have iTunes et up to manually mange syncing –not auto) 2. once it is unlocked, how do I then do the swopping over(contacts, apps, ipod content, phone settings etc. thanks in advance for any and all advice

Unlocking and upgrading iphone 4 (4.2.1 & 03.10.01)

I got my iphone4 about 2 years ago from an apple store at full price. (but locked with ATT) It was on version 4.2.1 and baseband 03.10.01 Since then, I have been using gevey sim to latch on to the network in India. All the while I was on IOS4. Now, I came across this seller on ebay, who removed my IMEI number from the apple/ATT database. And, according to him now the phone is "factory unlocked". (I have verified the phone status here - iPhone Carrier Check Widget) The next step provided is to connect to itunes and restore. My question is - Can somebody explain how it works? My gevey sim would not work with higher IOS. Any feedback is appreciated!

Hi, As stated in the title, what unlocking options do I have for an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1 with the 4.11.08 baseband? If it isn't unlockable, what's the latest unlockable iOS and baseband combination I can use to unlock this device? Is it possible to downgrade the baseband? Thanks to anyone who can help out.

Unlocking my Japanese iphone 4 - PLEASE HELP :'(

Hi guys, i just moved to UK from Japan and I have a japanese iphone 4 on softbank network. I have tried to unlock it using Ultrasnow 1.2.3 but unfortunately it doesnt work for my baseband. I have also tried using the Gevey Supreme unlocking sim. Unortunately this hasn't worked either. I want to eventually use my O2 Pay As You Go sim card in my iPhone. My phone details are:- iPhone 4 Version: 4.3.3 (8J2) Modem Firmware (Baseband): 04.10.01 Could anyone please help me out as I am really eager to get my iPhone working!
