iPhone 4 unlock possible?
location:
macrumors.com - date:

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum (and apple to be totally honest).
The only apple products that I have every bought were a nano a number of years ago, iPad 1 and the new iPad.
Never needed to jailbreak or unlock any of those devices for my uses.
However, I my uncle bought a used iPhone 4 iOS 5.0.1 and he is driving me crazy to have it unlocked so that he can use it in Denmark.
I did a number of searchs here and on the web as well as asked friends and the answers are all over the place. Some say it cannot be done, other that it can partially be done, and other say it can be done no problem.
I don't Redsn0w or things of that nature.
For now, just need to know if it's possible.
Thanks

AT&T iPhone 4 unlock without the original AT&T sim: possible?
location:
apple.com - date:
January 25, 2013
Hi, I have an AT&T iPhone 4 that is eligible to unlock via the code they send you via email. However, my iPhone does not have the AT&T sim card it was originally equipped with, no will I be able to get it back. I already restored the phone (via the phone's "reset all settings and content" option in the settings app) and now I'm running into a problem where I can't get past the activation screen in the iPhone set up with (or without) my new European sim card. I'm worried that the AT&T unlock will now become impossible. The phone was never hacked, previously unlocked or jailbroken. Does anyone have any experience with a problem like this? Please, any help will be tremendously appreciated.

Possible to Unlock a Jailbroken iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.1 and baseband 04.10.01?
location:
macrumors.com - date:
August 30, 2011
I've done some google searches on how to unlock my iPhone 4, running iOS 4.3.1 and baseband 04.10.01
From what I've read, ultrasn0w is not compatible with this baseband version.
I'm wondering if there has been any updates on this, or if it is even possible to unlock this iPhone?
Thanks!

Possible to unlock a locked iphone? (4 digit password)
location:

Im not talking about unlocking it for another carrier.
Im talking about a way to bypass a locked iphone (the locked screen that needs a 4 digit password)
My friend said she doesnt know her code so she's locked herself out of her phone but she wants to find a way to bypass the locked iphone WITHOUT having to restore because she doesnt want to lose her data.
Is there anyway to get around this without deleting her data?

Found iPhone 4 with passcode - unlock possible?

Okay, I know this question must exist somewhere, but I can't seem to come up with the right google query, so here goes....
I'll start by saying I admit this is a totally unbelievable story, so feel free to come up with your own theories, but it's really true:
I came home today to a lady picking up cans in the ditch in front of my house (I live outside of town and people litter on the way to/from the lake). I told her I had a bunch of cans she could have and had her come up to my house. I gave her probably $30 worth of cans, and then she pulls out what looked like an iPhone 4 or 4S and asks if its mine. She said she found it in my ditch and thought I might have dropped it. Well, it wasn't mine, but I guess since I was so nice with the cans, she just gave it to me. Seriously.
So, I bring the phone in the house and plug it in, and even though it's been raining, it turns on! Problem is, the screen is locked, and short of a DFU restore, I do

Is it possible to unlock my iPhone 4, 5.1.1, 04.12.01

Hello,
I lost my iPhone while travelling through Thailand, I had a jailbroken iPhone 4 on a T-Mobile UK contract. After losing the iPhone I rang T-Mobile and they sent me a replacement sim card to my address in England. I am now in Australia, I have purchased a second hand iPhone which is locked to Optus network in Australia. While waiting for my replacement sim to be sent to Australia I jailbroke the iPhone with redsn0w 0.9.14b2 and restored my iPhone from iCloud. Brilliant, I thought, as I would just be able to pop the sim card in when it arrived and I would have a working iPhone again.
However, the sim card arrived today and it says "no service" in the top left corner, and there is no carrier settings in the iPhone settings. I skyped T-Mobile and they said the sim card has been activated and it should be working. I tried resetting the network settings and turning off and on, turning airplane mode on then turning off and on then turning off airplane mo

Possible to unlock Iphone 3gs, iOS 4.1, BaseBand 05.16.05, Model MC136LL?

Is it possible to unlock an Iphone 3gs, iOS 4.1, BaseBand(modem firmware) 05.16.05, Model MC136LL? Week 50 according to serial number.
It says on various sites that I should change the base band to the ipad base band but on several sites is says not too because I have the model number MC136LL and that it could brick my phone or worse. Is there another way?
Thank you for any help! I hate to bother, but I've been at this for hours (successfully jailbroke!) and am stuck on this last part...
