A friend has bought iPhone 4 g , iOS 4.2.1 , firmware 3.10 (something like that)
And he wanted me to jailbreak it
I made custom ipsw with pwnagetool , for 4.3.3 , got the iPhone into dfu mode and then restored it with iTunes and after it completed restore and tried to reboot the device it didn't work.
I tried to restore it again with the same custom ipsw but iTunes didn't accept it
So I used fixrecovery43 to get the device out of dfu mode , but i didn't work either
Every time I plug iPhone to the computer iTunes asked to restore ( no update option)
so I tried to restore it to 4.3.5 , just few minutes and iTunes show error message number 14.
I don't have any SHSH blobs, and tried to downgrade to iOS 4.3.3 but iTunes showed error message 3196 ( something like that)
now the screen it black and when i plug it to the computer , iTunes says it's in recovery mode , but tinyumberlla says it's in dfu mode.
So plea

New Iphone 4 stuck in DFU Mode
location:
apple.com - date:

I only had my iphone 4 for 24 hours when it started to randomly freeze on me. I looked up the internet, including these forums and it suggested holding down the home and power buttons for 10 secs. Initially this solved the several times it did it that day. Eventually it froze one evening while viewing a YouTube clip. I left it overnight in its frozen state. In the morning it was as if nothing was wrong. The iphone was functioning normally. I took some pictures of the snow outside the house and it froze again. Trying a new tactic I tried restoring the phone, which came up with errors 1603 then on a retry, 1604, then 2009, before inexplicably illuminating and going into recovery mode. I then managed to restore the phone and use a backup to put the phone back to how I want it.Bit later I wanted to add some photos to the iPhone so I added them into Itunes (10.1.1) and synchronised. The screen went dark immediately after plugging it in and has been black screen (as in loo

It seems like it stuck in DFU-mode. I tried to load back through itunes and the phone starts and u can see the apple log loading but in the end i get an unkown error msg.
I try to boot through redsnow and the pinapple log appears but then it dies again.

iPhone 3GS 4.3.4 STUCK on DFU Mode/ Black Screen of DEATH!!
location:
modmyi.com - date:
October 9, 2011
Hi to all iPhone pros and people who are experiencing the same problem as me!
I recently bought an iPhone 3GS that had stock 4.3.4 fw and 5.16 bb and wanted to jailbreak and unlock it. So I wanted to use redsn0w to jailbreak and unlock with iPad baseband but I used a 4.2.1 ipsw that I previously had.. Did not want to wait another 30 min to download a 400mb 4.3.4 ipsw. So anyways I tried to jb through redsnOw and it gave me the screen with a USB cord attaching to iTunes . I was sort of stuck so I tried pWned DFU mode through redsnOw and tried to do a shift restore with iTunes pointing to a custom ipsw and it gave me error 3194... So I did the "start TSS server" on tinyumbrella and finally got all the way to the restoring iPhone screen on the phone with the status bar. But after a while it gave me error 1015 and the phone is a BLACK screen and cannot get it to turn on.. When i connect the phone to the computer you can hear the sound of it connecting and all and iTune

iPhone 3GS old bootrom stuck in DFU mode after trying to update to 4.1 using spirit2pwn
location:

Hi Guys,
There is a small ray of hope to people that has an iPhone 3GS old bootrom who foolishly believed redmonpie's Spirit2Pwn solution to upgrade to 4.1.
However, it does require you to have your 4.0.1 SHSH blobs saved in Cydia.
I have had my 3GS stuck in DFU mode since last night, So I scoured around for a solution and like most of you guys and it seems that a lot of people were suckered by spirit2pwn and finally accepted that I'd have to open my phone.
I left the phone overnight, and in the morning of course, its still in DFU (coz the battery was full the noght before). But then, I decided to simply restore my iOS to 4.0.1. I changed my host file to "74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com" then crossed my fingers and updated my phone with a 4.0.1 ipsw.
Then by a miracle, the phone turned white screen, rebooted, and went through the update process!, I've just jailbreakme the phone just now, and and finally I'm able to upda

Jailbroken iPhone 4 Seems To Be Stuck In DFU Mode?
location:
modmyi.com - date:
October 24, 2011
I jailbroke my iPhone 4 sometime in March (I believe it was with blackra1n, not positive though) and it's been fine all this time. I never did any phone updates or anything since I jailbroke it.
Last night I had it on a Bose SoundDock. When I took it off, the phone kept giving me the notice that "this device is not compatible with this phone" - and this was after I removed it from the SoundDock. It did this several times, so I shut it down.
It won't turn back on. I've tried holding down home+power for 12 seconds, no luck. The phone wasn't dropped or near any water that I can think of, so I have no idea what would have prompted this.
When I plug it into the computer, iTunes says "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." So it seems that it's in DFU mode, but I never put it into that mode (as far as I know).
If I restore the phone through iTunes, will I
