iphone 4 speaker issue

iPhone 4 speaker issue?

This is my first iPhone so forgive me if I'm mistaken but I think there's an issue with the speakers next to the dock connector. Only one side is working. If I put my finger over the hole on the right side while playing music or on speakerphone, all noise is blocked. Is the left side a speaker that isn't working on my phone or is that where they hid the microphone?

iPhone 4 issue (ear speaker)

The speaker for the phone just stopped working. The one near your ear. Can't hear anything on a phone call, for example. Just dead. Using speaker phone works fine (where the sound comes out down near the bottom speaker). Nothing from the ear speaker. No other problems and no damage to the phone. Anyone else have this issue come up or have a potential solution? Thanks.
