iPhone 4 recovery mode help!

I have a Verizon iPhone 4.
So I decided to jailbreak the phone about a month ago using redsn0w.
I plugged it into my computer today and inadvertently hit the upgrade to 4.2.9. I quickly pulled the cord, but now the phone is stuck in recovery mode. I can't restore through iTunes because I get the "requested build" message and I'm not really sure what to do with TinyUmbrella to make it work.
I'm kinda panicking that I may have bricked my iPhone. I thought I understood enough to jailbreak it, but now I realize I'm in over my head with the jargon and techno-saviness.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My iPhone 4 is stuck in a Recovery mode loop ever since I updated to iOS 6. I am using a mac running 10.8.3 with the latest iTunes. When it is connected to my computer iTunes pops up and says "An iPhone in recovery mode has been connected, you must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." Then I click restore and update and it goes through with the whole process then i get the unknown error -1 and an iPhone that is still in recovery mode:( Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

iPhone 4 stuck in RECOVERY MODE, help!
location:

I've tried using TinyUmbrella, but when I press "exit recovery" the script says "08/09/2011 00:23:15.351 Sending exit recovery request to 0 08/09/2011 00:23:15.526 Recovery Device disconnected: 012337007548946" and then my iPhone reboots in recovery mode still. I'm not sure why it immediately tries to disconnect every time I try to exit recovery, but I can't get it to kick out of recovery because it keeps disconnecting itself every time I try. I even tried putting it in DFU mode and fixing recovery but my iPhone then showed a screen with something about greenpois0n and then rebooted in recovery mode about twenty minutes later. I also tried using the "fix recovery" download from TinyUmbrella too but it failed to help anything either. Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated, I really need to get photos and videos off of my iPhone... Thanks so much

Hi Guys,
I have an iPhone 4 (first generation) and running on iOS4.1, baseband 2.10.4, using a Geveysim and NO shsh saved at all.
I wanted to update to a newer version of iOS while keeping the same version of the baseband (No_BB).
So I tried with Snowbreeze but itunes always returns errors such as 3194, 160x, 11 ... I used an SSL server with TinyUmbrella but still no solution.
So ultimately, I used redsnow (latest version) to restore it. And as I can save only a SHSH for the iOS version 6.1.2 so I proceeded to restore iOS 6.1.2.
Redsnow did a good job and update went well but when reboot the iPhone gets in recovery mode loop always.
I used TU, iREB but to no avail. Still in recovery mode.
Do you have any ideas how I can do now to run it again?
Thanks in advance,
Sep
