iPhone 4 Not Showing Up In iTunes

So I jailbroke my iPhone 4 a while ago and I seem to remember being able to sync it after I jailbroke it. I haven't synced it in a while but when I went to plug it in yesterday, iTunes is no longer even picking up the device. Anyone else having this problem?
Ok nvm everyone. Just upgraded iTunes to 10.1 and it seems to be working...for now anyway. I'm surprised, that's the first time updating Apple software has ever fixed anything

Did a full Time Machine restore, iPhone 4 not showing up in iTunes
location:

I recently installed a new internal HD in my MBP and did a full Time Machine restore (pretty cool actually, everything pretty much works as it used to, save for one or two things). The problem I'm running in to is iTunes does not recognize my iPhone 4 when I plug it in.
After the full TM restore was done, I tried to open iTunes and it said iTunes was corrupt. I deleted it by dragging the application to the trash, and then went and redownloaded and installed the newest version. I also transferred my entire music library from my external hard drive, and it all works just fine.
I'm running version 10.0.1 of iTunes and 4.1 on my iPhone 4
I've reset the computer, reset the phone, tried plugging it into a different usb port, and nothing works. iPhoto still recognizes my phone, and my friend's computer recognizes it as well, so it's definitely an issue with my iTunes.
Any ideas?

iPhone 4 not showing up in iTunes--have tried everything! Please help....
location:

Hey all, I know there was a thread similar to this, but I tried everything in it (see below) and nothing worked. My iPhone 4 will not show up in iTunes, I've rebooted computer, the phone, tried other usb ports, even different cables. I am completely at a loss. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
Here's what I already tried:
Disconnect the iPhone from the computer.
Close all running programs on the computer.
Create a new user with Admin privileges on the computer.
Log out of the original user.
Log in to the newly created user.
Install iTunes on the new user.
Attached your iPhone.
iTunes should now see your phone.
Eject your iPhone from iTunes.
Close iTunes.
Log off the newly created user.
Log in to the original user.
Launch iTunes.
Connect iPhone.

iPhone 4 not showing up in iTunes
location:

I've had a Verizon iPhone since February, and haven't experienced any problems with syncing to iTunes (except wifi sync), but all of the sudden even when I plug in my phone over usb, iTunes won't recognize it.
This first happened today after I reinstalled iTunes to try to fix wifi sync. It fixed it for my iPad 2, which had previously only been able to sync over usb cable, but now my iPhone won't sync at all because iTunes doesn't even detect that it's plugged in. I tried different usb cables, and the iPhone charges when plugged in, so it's not a fault in the cable. I can still import pictures to my computer too.
I tried restarting my computer, restarting my iPhone, taking it out and plugging it back in. It seems like it must be something wrong in my iPhone, as my iPad will still connect and sync over both wifi and usb.
I'm running on Windows 7 x64.

updated to 10.6.4, now iPhone not showing up in iTunes for syncing
location:

Hi all,
For some reason, my iPhone no longer shows up in iTunes when I connect it via USB.
It connects (I hear a beep and the iPhone screen turns on) but nothing shows up in the left-hand column of iTunes.
Is there some setting I can change, to allow me to make it appear? It's the only way I know for syncing, etc.
thanks,
malch
