Use iPad as Airplay Receiver?

As the title says! lol
I barely ever use my iPad, and I'm in a part of the world where you can't really get an apple TV. However I've been messing around with Reflections for my mac, and I love how I can watch videos on it from my iPhone's Airplay.
I want to connect my iPad to my TV and use it as an airplay receiver so I can send videos from my mac and iphone. Is there any way I'd be able to do that?
Thanks guys!

iPad as AirPlay compatible a/v receiver

Is there any way to use an iPhone, iPod or iPad (that are in your wireless network) as AirPlay compatible a/v receivers? Is there an app for such a purpose? The ability to use the mobile device as the content source using the AirPlay feature is great, easy and well documented. But... Many of us who have these devices have speaker docking stations for listening to music that has been synced onto the mobile device. In the case of a wireless network, it would be nice to be able to cue up music at an iMac or MacBook and broadcast it to an ipad or ipod that is docked to some speakers. ...rather than having to buy an airport & speakers or airplay ready speakers. It seems that apple has restricted the "receiver" role to just airports, apple TV, and dedicated AirPlay speakers.
