Display iPad Screen in Windows for Web Demo Purposes
- date: September 29, 2010
I work for a large software company and my job requires me to demo applications over the internet. We have recently recently released new capabilities to allow our customers to be able to access the application (or at least parts of it) via and iPad and iPod/iPhone.
When demoing this capability it is no problem when I am physically next to the prospect/customer.
However, on many occasions I am remote and not in physical proximity to the people I am demoing to.
The company (and my team) are all outfitted with Windows PC's (running Win 7) and we utilize either Webex or Adobe Connect to show the prospects (who join the web meetings) the solution - and this works fine.
However - I appear to be hitting a brick wall when it comes to showing them how the solution on the iPad/iPhone looks and works - because I cannot find a way to display what I am doing on the iPad/iPhone on the windows PC (and hence have it picked up by the web sharing tool).
