I downloaded Cydia. Then I went into the Cydia app and downloaded Dreamboard. I switched the home screen to an Andriod screen. The itouch then froze, and started rebooting itself. I wasn't able to get control. Tried to restore, get error 3014. Ideas? I have tried to restore the device but get stopped at the point the computer is trying to start restoring the device (after it has downloaded the software. Error message 3014. I have taken all the steps recommended to troubleshoot error message 3014 but nothing worked. Now the device shows a chord pointing toward the itunes icon. Totally stuck at this point. Any advice you can give me to complete the restore would be appreciated!

Is there any Cydia app to backup/restore SMS/voicemail?

Currently I have to dig into my iTunes backups and then SSH back into my iphone after jailbreak and put the files back. (I also have to set permissions and things).
Is there any Cydia application that can backup certain parts of the phone that iTunes handles typically? Name the two in the title.
I always setup as a new phone but was wondering if there was an app to do these things that I do manually.

Rsync Restore Cydia App, How?
location:

I installed rsync from Cydia on my Jailbroken iPhone 4 running 4.3.3.
Then I backed up the iPhone using this command from my Linux PC:
rsync -av
[email protected]:/ /local/dir/iPhone/RsyncBackup/
It worked perfectly.
I installed the Cydia app SBSchedule but now want to try MyProfiles instead. Since they do similar things there would be -I guess- a conflict. So before installing MyProfiles I'm intending to delete SBSchedule from my iPhone, but I already paid for it. So...
1) If I decide that I don't want MyProfiles will I be able to restore SBSchedule from the Rsync backup which I made?
2) How would I go about doing so? Which directories and files would need to be restored? Is it just as simple as restoring the app directory below, or are there other files I would need to restore as well? (I'm not asking for the rsync command, just the files/dirs which Jailbroken apps are stored in. I am also not wo

Avoid reinstalling cydia packages and app store apps on restore or update?
location:
macrumors.com - date:

Is there any way to avoid reinstalling cydia packages and app store apps after restoring using iTunes or updating to a new OS?
I have many apps installed and many cydia packages, all of which were painstakingly configured. If I install something that forces a restore, or if I later choose to update OSs, I don't want to spend 30 hours on reconfiguration. Is there any way to avoid it? E.g., to prevent the reconfiguration on restore issue, can you create an "image" of your device's disk and restore that after using the iTunes restore feature (like Norton Ghost or Acronis TrueImage for PCs).
If there's no way to do this, what's the best way of backing up application data (for both cydia and app store apps)? Is there any solution that works for all app store apps?
