YouMail officially released their iphone app onto the appstore which means tmobile users can signup for a youmail account and use youmail as there voicemail. Then use the YouMail app to check there voicemail.
I personally have been using YouMail for the longest time since it has alot of great features but now that the iphone app is out its 1000 times better.
And its all FREE.

Help Me Forward Incoming Calls Straight to Voicemail - An App?
location:
macrumors.com - date:
May 14, 2010
I have certain people (incoming callers) I do not like to chat with on the phone.
I'd rather email or text them.
I realize i can press the top button two times to automatically send them to my voicemail, but -- I feel they will know I am screening the call.
I am DESPERATELY looking for an app that will send certain callers directly to my voicemail, appearing (to them( that my phone is off.
Can anyone give me a hand?
I realize there are apps like SlyDial for my calling THEM -- but what I want is the opposite -- an app for INCOMING callers to go straight to my VM.

I found this great app (well its been out for a while but I barely found out about it).
For anyone who didnt know, there's a app that takes your call straight to the voicemail of the person's mobile phone you are wanting to leave a message with. Its called " Slydial " and its Free .
Comes in handy for when you need to talk to someone you really dont want, or cant talk to at the moment. (boss, coworkers, etc).
From their website :
Quote:
Who should use slydial?
Anyone who is short on time, wants to avoid an awkward conversation, or doesn't want to bother someone, but needs to leave them a voicemail. No matter where you are in the walk of life, be it a college coed, a working stiff, a soccer

Hello all expert programmers..
I've been using my iPhone without my visual voicemail app for so long .. ever since i jailbroke my iPhone for the third time about months go right before the release of firmware 1.1.4 ...after I jailbroke my phone ..a few times because of glitchhes ... the Visual Voicemail apps just gone completely ... since I'm an TT subscriber..that's a given with iPhone ...other wise u have that stupid dialpad...
I think during one of my earlier days of jailbreaking my iPhone..it's just gone out of existence...
Does anyone in here knows why that happened?..even though I've restored and updated my iPhone everytime there's a new firmware update to the current 2.2 firmware..i still do not have that visual voicemail app running...
could it be a permission changed in the bios of the iPhone OS?...
help me u you can anyone..
if not..ole well I can live with it..

As most are well aware, T-Mobile USA have implemented visual voicemail for their myTouch 3G.
SpookyET has come pretty far on the project but has been faced with a brick wall with respect to the programming aspect. We need someone to look into enabling it for us T-Mobile iPhone users.
All the needed files are located at the link in his last quote.

Visual Voicemail App Functionality
location:
macrumors.com - date:
July 13, 2008
Hi,
Does anyone know if the iPhone SDK provides official support for interacting with the user's voicemail server?
Could the iPhone SDK be used to replicate Apple's visual voicemail app?
If there isn't official support - would this type of functionality be feasible in any way on an app developed with the SDK? (i.e. downloading a user's voicemail messages and or updating their voicemail greeting)
Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
