iPod app on iPhone 3GS doesn't show music or videos
location:
modmyi.com - date:

I am running a 3GS jailbroken using jailbreakme 3.0 on 4.3.3.
Recently, the iPod app went from showing all of my music and movies to suddenly saying "No Content".
The media is still on my phone. I can browse to it through iFile and play it from there, but it just isn't showing up in iPod.
Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be the .db file that is missing?
I don't recall loading anything new recently from Cydia that might have caused this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

New App Takes 360 Degree Videos By Making the iPhone Rotate By Itself
location:
modmyi.com - date:
December 27, 2012
A rather new application dubbed Cycloramic has hit the App Store for taking 360-degree videos with your iPhone 5. It has been designed so that you can stand your iPhone 5 straight up on a hard and flat glossy surface, such as glass, marble, or granite and the iPhone 5 will rotate 360 degrees all by itself to take the 360-degree video without you even needing to hold the device.
Does it seem too good to be true? – As a matter of fact, it’s real. The application is made specifically for the iPhone 5 and it uses vibration patterns using the iPhone 5’s built-in vibration mechanism to push the iPhone 5 in the direction it needs to go. When it completes the 360-degree circle, the video is saved to your Camera Roll as expected.
For the application to work correctly, you cannot have the iPhone 5 in

How do I stop videos popping up in safari through the Facebook iPhone app on iPad?
location:
apple.com - date:
September 29, 2011
I have the Facebook iPhone app on my iPad and this morning saw a video in my newsfeed from one of my friends and figured it was spam. I didn't click it but now wondering if I tapped it by accident. Now whenever I open the app on my iPad, Safari pops open to one of two YouTube videos, either shirts for shelter or nom nom nom babies picture video. This is extremely annoying and the app needs to be opened three times before I can actually use it, which pretty Much renders the app useless. How do I stop this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, unfriending the friend who first posted it, and clearing out the apps in the Facebook settings. No luck.

Why are some YouTube videos unavailable on the iPhone YouTube.app?
location:
macrumors.com - date:
July 23, 2010
One theory a friend of mine said it's because of videos that have those (super annoying) ads that pop up on the bottom of the vid after 10 seconds of playtime.
As if ads aren't bad enough, now they won't allow you to watch a vid on your iPhone....awesome!!!
Any other theories?

Videos barely buffer in Safari and Facebook using wi-fi on iPhone 5 but are fine on the YouTube app/m.youtube.com
location:

Hey guys, Really odd issue I've got but it hasn't fixed even after replacing my phone. Basically I have a very good connection at home with a very good router (Asus RT-N56U). When using the 2.4ghz band I get speeds of upto 50mbps on the speedtest.net app and upto 80mbps when using the 5ghz band. When downloading from the Apple store or watching youtube videos using the app or going m.youtube.com I reach those speeds yet when I try to watch a video on facebook or a video on safari (such as on dailymotion, just to test), I can barely buffer more than 3 seconds of the video before it pauses. When checking the traffic manager on my router, it shows that I'm only downloading at around 30kB/s, an unnacceptable speeds. My old iPhone 4 did not have this problem an
