Ok, I dont know if I'm missing a setting or something, but you guys know Peter Hajas' mobilenotifier? And how when you clicked the text notification on top, a keyboard popped up and you could just text from there. This feature is key to my survival. So anyone that knows how to do this, please enlighten me!
Thanks

I bought an iphone 5 2 days ago and both days, the battery has drained to 20% in 12 hours.... I thought it was supposed to have 8 hours of talk time? I haven't even been talking on it. 2 calls... just texting. Is there a app killer app available?

Best free texting app

So I pay 20$ a month to att for unlimited texting. Most of my texts go through iMessage now and the other < 300 texts I send a month are sent via my carrier.
My question is what is the best text app that will make it so I don't have to pay for texting at all? I want to drop my 20$ unlimited texting plan and use a third party app that still uses my real phone number. However when I search for apps and such they all look like scams or something alone those lines.
Any suggestions?

Tweak to integrate google voice texting into message app (ipad)

I currently use talkatone and I am not happy with it. I was thinking that it would be cool if there was a tweak where my texts from google voice would go straight to messages or even to some other messages replacing app. Does that exist?

What is the best/favorite texting app out there?

I had been using HeyWire for a few months but then realized HeyWire was not the only player in town...only the latest one to join the club! I see people talking about TextFree as well but besides those two, any others worth trying out to compare before deciding which one I stick with?BTW...does HeyWire and TextFree support MMS messaging as well or only SMS? I know TextFree has come out with a newer version that includes phone calls as well and it they also advertise that it does MMS as well too but wasn't sure about the regular "TextFree" app. Thanks!

Looking for a one-way or "reply to sender only" group texting app?
location:

As a quick background, I run a golf league and usually have to get some information out to the group on a weekly basis (e.g. somebody can't make it and we need a sub).
What I'm looking for is a either a one-way group texting app or a group texting app where you can specify that replies only get sent to the original sender (i.e. me) and not to the whole group. I have been messing around with TextPlus 4 and it works fine for sending the blast, but then when someone replies it goes to the whole group - which can be annoying when more than 1 or 2 people respond.
Does anyone know of an app with a "reply to sender only" option on a group text? I have seen it in an online group texting solution, but nothing in an app.
