Better note taking app - Note Taker vs Phat Pad?
location:
macrumors.com - date:

Would really like to purchase a quality note taking app so I can quickly jot down notes in meetings. I planned on using a stylus. The two choices I've come down to are Note Taker and Phat Pad. I like the idea that Phat Pad can convert what you write into neat text in case I need to forward anything.
Was hoping to get some opinions on both before making the purchase.

Looking for a good note taking app: Are there new features for the Notes app in iOS6?
location:
apple.com - date:

Hi, I've read that the Notes app with Mountain Lion will be available for OS X as well, and I was wondering if there will be any significant updates to the Notes app coming in iOS 6? The Notes app in Mountain Lion supports, as far as I know, text formatting, images and attachments. The Notes app in iOS 5 does not have any of these features, yet still it is claimed that the OS X client will sync with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This means that there must be some rather significant updates coming for the Notes app in iOS 6 to match up with the features of its Mac counterpart. Still, no updates to the Notes app are listed in any of the iOS 6 feature lists I've seen so far. I'm looking for a good note taking app for OS X and iOS. I don't like how Springpad works, neither

Note-taking app versus Pages or other Word Processor App
location:
macrumors.com - date:

I've been wondering why people would prefer to buy a note-taking app versus say a more fully developed word processor app like Pages or some thing else. Beyond price differences (I think Page app is about $10 and many note-taking apps are below $8?) what other reasons are there?

Best note taking app with a stylus?
location:
imore.com - date:

Ok, I will be finally picking up an iPad for work and want to get a note taking app that I can use in meetings with a stylus. Instead of tapping away, I would love the ability to write notes for speed sake as well as just not being the guy who taps on his iPad during a meeting.
Can anyone recommend a some good candidates?
Here's some features I'd be looking for.
- Some sort of "wrist protection" so I can rest my writing hand on the screen without incident.
- Scribble to text conversion, but done when I say so. It's fine if the conversion is quick but I've seen a lot of lag in some programs and want to be able to just do it after I finish writing for speed sake.
- Flexible formats, .doc is preferred but probably not a possibility.
- Whiteboard abilities. Not critical but some drawing abilities would be nice.

Best Note-Taking App to use with a stylus
location:
macrumors.com - date:
April 8, 2012
I recently purchased a stylus for taking notes on my iPad. I need some recommendations for a good note-taking app where I can use the stylus as well as the keyboard when I don't want to take handwritten notes. The app should have a palm rest feature, the ability to zoom-in, smooth pen strokes, ability to insert graphs.

Note Taker HD
I like Penultimate and Noteshelf's UI but do they have the features I want? What do they lack?

Best iPad School Note Taking App for TYPING
location:

Hello all!
I am probably going to be getting an iPad for school this year and I am looking for a great note taking app. Obviously there are TONS of threads like this one on the internet, but none suited what I am looking for.
I want an app that is mostly intended for typing, with the ability to draw in addition. Most note taking apps available just focus on stylus writing with a minor amount of typing. It would be great if it was flexible for math, with the ability to edit equations, draw shapes, etc... Good organization is also important (multiple notebooks with subsections). Also when the app is updated it is VERY important that there aren't any errors transferring data. I have read on the reviews on some apps that when you update they don't transfer data correctly . Pages is not what I am looking for because of the lack of organization features a
