iPad Jukebox App??

first off, i'm not a developer nor do I know much about code and the current apple APIs...
my question is why isn't there an app for the iPad like a bar-style electronic Jukebox? Where you can set it out at a party or something and friends can queue up songs from a cool GUI like the bar wall jukeboxes by browsing thru artists or searching for songs and album covers??
Like I said, I don't know about the whole API stuff and what it can or cannot do, so maybe apps can't get access to the itunes library...but apps like djay do, so maybe it's possible??
any insight would be great...would love to see an app like this!

Mac Jukebox App?

Wondering if anyone can help me... with new years coming up I'm wanting ton use an app to handle all the music so I don't have to sort out playlists and things like that before hand. What I'm looking for is something that will let people choose their own music and queue it up one after an other, without having to use the mouse or do anything to technical so that everyone will be able to use it. If the Apple Remote would work with it too that be a bonus. Does anyone know if there's something like this out there?

iPad Jukebox App

Why isn't there an app for iPad that would allow you to touch a song in your music library and at it to a queue of songs to play in order? There is an application called SilverJuke for Mac or PC that does just this, but of course you use the mouse. It imports all of the songs from your iTunes library (including album artwork) and allows users to double-click on a song and add it to the list of upcoming songs. Perfect for parties, ski trips, etc.Wouldn't it be great to have this capability on the iPad? Touch a song and move it to the queue. On the fly playlist creation, how novel. Can someone please create this app?

Using remote app on ipad like a jukebox - possible?
location:

I have an iPad, iMac and Airport express. I have been playing music through my stereo using the remote app on the ipad which is great. We are having a party and I want to be able to just have the ipad there for everyone to use to choose songs, kind of like a jukebox. However when we do this, of course as soon as someone selects a new song it stops what is playing currently. I want them to queue up like a jukebox would. Is this possible? The itunes DJ on the app seems to be quite clunky - eg. pressing edit, then add songs, then clicking on plus signs etc - I would have to attach instructions to the thing on the night. Is there anything that would work with this?
